15 Most Anticipated Bollywood Movies To Catch Up In 2015

Just like other years, this year, Bollywood has given us bunch of hits like Higway, Queen, Kick, Happy New Year, PK, average movies like Ek Villain, Mardaani, Happy Ending, and flops like The Xpose, Humshakals, Entertainment, Action Jackson, etc . Let’s see what special Bollywood will show us this New Year. A bunch of movies is also all set to entertain you, but here is the list of movies that you would like to watch the coming year 2015.

1. Wazir

The trailer which got released on 19th February along with the Aamir Khan’s PK movie is well-received by the audiences. The trailer shows the Farhan Akthar, who plays the role of an ATS officer, Amitabh Bachchan, who is seen as plays a paralysed chess grandmaster and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie is expected to release in 2015.

2. Baby

After doing few comedy films, Akshay Kumar is back with his old dynamic action avatar. Baby, directed by Neeraj Pandey, stars Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Madhurima Tuli. The trailer of the movie, which was released on December 3, looks promising and is definitely a must watch for all Khiladi Akshay’s fans. The film will be released on January 23rd, 2015.

3. Roy

This romantic action psychological thriller is directed by debutante Vikramjit Singh. Roy is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar & Freeway Pictures and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor and stars Ranbir Kapoor is seen as a conman, Arjun Rampal who plays the role of a film director and Jacqueline Fernandez who is seen romancing both. Roy is scheduled to release on February 13th, 2015. The trailer seems promising and was viewed by record number of audiences.

4. Badlapur

Badlapur is most talked about as the young and dynamic star Varun Dhawan who was seen in lovey-dovey roles in his previous films will be seen in dark character in this movie. The trailer, which was released recently, has already attracted many audiences. Also Varun will be seen kissing older actress Divya Dutta in the movie. Badlapur also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte in supporting roles The film is expected to release on February 20th, 2015.

5. Detective Byomkesh Bakshi

The most promising youngster, who made his debut in Kai Po Che, will be seen in playing the title role in the film Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. The crime thriller, which is scheduled to release on April 10, 2015, also stars Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee. Byomkesh Bakshi, which we had seen as serials in the television, now should be seen how it looks like to see on big screen. The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra (Yash Raj Films) and Dibakar Banerjee Productions film.

6. Piku

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Piku, a comedy-drama, stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta. The movie is all about father-daughter relationship and is scheduled to release on April 30, 2015.


7. Dil Dhadakne Do

Directed by Zoya Akthar, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar, Dil Dhadakne Do is scheduled to release on June 5th, 2015. The movie casts Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah. This movie was most talked about as there was cast issues, and previously, it was said to star Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who were replaced by Ranveer and Priyanka. Viewers are expecting a hit movie as Zoya-Farahan’s hit movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

8. Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Bodyguard Jodi – Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, is back in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The romantic comedy film, directed and co-produced by Kabir Khan also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui. According to a leading daily Kareena plays a Brahmin girl. The movie is scheduled to release on July 16, 2015.

9. Singh Is Bling

Expected to release on July 31, 2015, Singh Is Bling directed by Prabhu Deva, stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. Akshay, who impressed with his comedy timings, is back with in Singh avatar.

10. Fan

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, and produced by Aditya Chopra, Fan stars Shahrukh Khan. The film is scheduled to release on 14 August, 2015.

Mastizaade is a comedy film, which starts Indo-Canadian star Sunny Leone, who is most searched celeb in India. Directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Pritish Nandy, the movie also stars Tushar Kapoor, Vir Das and Ritesh Deshmukh will be seen in cameo role. The film is expected to release in the mid of 2015.


12. Bajirao Mastani

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani stars Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The film is scheduled to release on December 25, 2015. Recently, the looks of Priyanka Chopra was revealed.



13. Paani

Produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Paani is produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shekhar Kapoor. Music is given by AR Rahman. The film features Sushant Singh Rajput and Ayesha Kapur. The movie is speculated to release in 2015.


14. Jagga Jasoos

Directed by Anurag Basu, Jagga Jasoos stars the rumoured couple and the viewer’s favourite Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The movie also features Govinda. The film is expected to release in October 2015.

15. Margarita, with a Straw

Margarita, with a Straw made its world premiere on 8 September 2014 at the Toronto International Film Festival. The movie directed by Shonali Bose, stars Kalki Koechlin plays who suffer from Cerebral palsy. The film also stars Revathi and Sayani Gupta. At The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in 2014, Kalki Koechlin Bagged The Best Actress Award for her challenging role in the film. The film is expected to release in 2015.
