Ek Tha Tiger Review

Ek Tha Tiger Review

Ek Tha Tiger, produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Kabir Khan, is a romantic action thriller starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. It is also Salman’s first film with Yash Raj Films. Music is by Sohail Sen and a guest composition by Sajid-Wajid.

Of course,  Sallu’s entry is good and all bhais will definitely like the way he enters (kicking a person’s face, cigarettes flying in front of his face). First part is slow but definitely you will enjoy Kat and Sallu humorous jokes, and wait… it’s just for a while. Second part seems to be more dragging, and you will start yawning. There is no logic, though we believe anytime and anywhere love may happen, you still keep wondering, as everything happens so fast, falling in love, accepting, running away and that too one can’t stop thinking that how a dedicated agent takes out bulk money, runs away from place to place, silly, no logic in it.

Stopping the train by hanging it to the antenna of train (I don’t know what you call that), jumping from one building to another, also from car-car, bus-car….whatever comes on the way. I saw more of running and jumping in the movie and remembered Sanjay Leela Bhansali as he makes all his heroines run so much (excluding jumps).  After watching Ra.One and Ek Tha Tiger (you may wonder why I am comparing these movies-it’s just because people saw Ra.one and started making fun of SRK doing stunts) I can just say there is no difference between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, as both are seen jumping all around like monkeys only the difference was SRK was superhero and did such stunts, here Salman is an agent and doing the same.

Coming to Katrina’s role, expressions on her face during emotions or whatever, is dull, though better than her previous movies. But yes, action and dance, she has done wonderfully. Its pleasure to see both Salman and Katrina onscreen. They look wonderful together.

Music is good, though not much impressive.

This movie is saved just because of TIGER- Salman Khan, his innocent face, style and stunts.  I would give two and half stars for this. One and a half for Salman, half star each for Katrina Kaif and music.

Who will like ETT: 1) Only ‘Die-hard’ Salman fans will like this (stressing: not ‘just’ salman fans)
2) Action lovers

I can just say, “Watch in theatres only and at your own risk.”
